When did the journey begin?
Our story starts a couple of years ago when one of our founders, Gordon, was trying to balance a busy lifestyle working full time, studying and competing at athletics - he used to begin his day and re-charge throughout using the same nutritious smoothie formula. He knew the ingredients provided him with a complete meal that ticked all of the healthy boxes and would allow him to continue to operate at a high level.
He loves setting sporting goals - having competed in a men's physique bodybuilding show and also reached national level decathlon athletics.
He started making this complex smoothie meal for his friends and family who really enjoyed it too. That's when the light-bulb moment came... he thought: "why can’t I make this for everyone else to enjoy and benefit from!?". From this moment the hard work to develop vybey commenced and alongside our extensive team of food scientists & nutritionists, we produced a great tasting ready-to-drink meal fit for the global market.
After a successful launch of vybey's drinks range in 2019, vybey powder was born!
vybey is now available all across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Europe.

The Facts
At vybey we recognise that life is fast-paced and it can be easy to skip breakfast or opt for a quick, unhealthy meal that has limited nutritional benefit. This however, is having a negative impact on society.
A recent National Health Survey by the Australian Bureau of Statistics revealed that:
• 67% of adults in Australia are overweight or obese.
• 24.9% of children aged between 5 and 17 years old are overweight or obese.
The New Zealand Health Survey found that:
• 66.8% of the population over the age of 15 years old are overweight or obese.
• The percentage of those under 15 years old being overweight or obese is 31.9%.
Change is needed to tackle this societal problem, with long term changes in eating habits being a large part of the solution. This is where vybey can play a part.
